Topical Acne Medications

Fortunately, today we have many topical medications that are remarkably effective at treating acne. In fact, most of our patients with acne are able to control their breakouts using topical therapies alone. We specialize in evaluating a patient’s skin type and recommending the most effective, least irritating regimen to combat acne. Often times, we find that patients may be using the correct medications, but in a manner that is ineffective. We work with the patient to develop an acne care regimen that maximizes the benefits of the topical medications.
